IPv6 - the next step

Everybody who wants to be present in the internet of the future needs to be reachable also via IPv6. ScoutLink is having IPv6 enabled IRC servers already for a longer time. As we are trying to improve IPv6 support on our network we now have extended our infrastructure a bit. So the current IPv6 status is:

SSL unified on all servers

We just finished deploying the new SSL certificates on our IRC servers. This means all servers now use a certificate issued by our own CA.

We are currently also deploying these certificates on our webservers so you can already use plenty of our servers now via SSL.

HowTo redirector module

This is a short how to how the redirector works. Please don't bother us about wrong grammar, it is so short before JOTI. Thanks for megalive for writing it.

The script basicly has two segments which you have too look at

1 the main channel
2 the channels people get placed in

1 the main channel

NickServ registration disabled

This is just  a short note that the NickServ registration is disabled in IRC (/nickserv register) until after JOTI as every year.

Please register your nicks at www.jotajoti.org

If you need special nicks eg for Bots please send a mail to the TechTeam.

Update: NickServ registration is back after JOTI
